NHS Induction
Summer STRETCH 2014
The Perry Local School District is pleased to announce the first annual Summer STRETCH offerings for targeted students in grades PreK through 4 and all students in grades 5-12!  
Last day of school - June 6th
The passage of House Bill 416 permits school districts to make changes to their contingency plan.  This plan determines how calamity days taken beyond the five allowed by law are made up.    
Annual Perry Community Green Day
The Perry Women's League, PHS Recycling Club, and PSL program are teaming up to organize the annual Perry Community Green Day. This year's event will take place on Saturday, April 26th. 
Water Safety Awareness Fundraiser
Standing in waist-deep water at a Lake Erie beach, 13 year-old Jermaine Zirkle and his friends were pulled out into a much deeper part of the lake. Trying to get out of the pull of the rip current and back to shore, Jermaine panicked and drowned. 
CVC All Academic Honors
Congratulations to the following Perry High School seniors who have earned CVC All Academic Honors for the winter season. This award requires a student-athlete to be a 2-year letter winner and currently have a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher. 
PSL Class at Perry Making a Difference

For the past 9 years, the Perry Service Learning class has been working with an organization called Magnified Giving to grant a non-profit organization $2,000. The process of nominating and then eliminating the non-profits is lengthy and stressful.
Congratulations to Our Wrestlers

Over the past weekend the Perry High School wrestlers competed in States, held in Columbus Ohio. Six of our wrestlers went down to Columbus in an attempt to bring home another state champion.
Summer Acting Intensive
Serious about pursuing theatre? Cleveland Play House is offering a new and exciting opportunity! This summer, America’s first professional regional theatre is offering a three-week Summer Acting Intensive for high school students or recent graduates. 
LCMEA: Singing is our Life

On February 20, 2014, Perry High School's Chorale went to Eastlake North for the 2014 Lake County Music Educators Association Choir Festival to perform with eight other schools from around Lake County.
Artwork in 2014 Governor’s Show
Perry High School has Artwork in the 2014 Governor’s Show! On March 8 our regional winners were judged against other Ohio regions and Mallory Hodkinson’s piece, “Hey What’s Kraken”, was chosen as one of Ohio’s best!

Congratulations to Emma Hunt, Mallory Hodkinson and Alanah Cooper; their artwork was entered into the regional judging of the Ohio Governor’s Show this weekend and made it through to the state judging.
