Incident at PMS, 11/18/14

This is a message to update you on an incident that took place today at Perry Middle School. This morning we were informed by a teacher about writing on the bathroom stall in the girls' restroom that stated, "Bo 12:56". Through the use of our surveillance system and the diligent work of teachers checking the restroom, we were able to narrow the number of students that could have possibly written this message to nine. Working closely with law enforcement, we confirmed that none of these students are capable of bringing an explosive device to school. Our efforts are ongoing in identifying the student who committed this crime and we have every intention of pursuing criminal charges.

Holiday Dance Clarification

Clarification: The Winter Dance is  for students in grades 6, 7 & 8 and will occur on Friday, December 19th.  There has been some debate by student council, however the students have decided to not break with tradition and keep it as orginally planned. This is a student council sponsored event.  While it is NOT a formal dance, student council does encourage students to look nice.  More details will be provided as we get closer to the event.
