Perry Middle School is committed to providing its students with a sustainable and healthy place to learn and is now being recognized as an Eco-School by the National Wildlife Federation. This is due to the hard work and commitment to the environment by our own students and staff. Over the last four years, students have learned about our local environment and completed their ow
n student-designed projects to make our school greener.
Some past projects have included educating students and staff about the importance of water and energy conservation, raising money to buy the school motion light sensors to conserve electricity, conducting a beach clean up of trash in Perry, raising money to buy the school automatic sinks to conserve water, and purchasing supplies to create an outdoor classroom for our students (opening this spring!). Thanks to our students for making PMS a greener place!
