Perry second graders have been making friends with the residents of Danbury Assisted Living. Since 2019, the second-grade classes have been taking field trips to Danbury, and while the pandemic made things more difficult, it couldn’t stop these friends from seeing each other.

The Perry Service Learning Green Team at Perry High School has nominated their custodian, Denise Prior, to be considered for the Custodian Hero award, sponsored by PepsiCo Rally for Schools. The award recognizes custodians who promote and contribute to their school recycling programs.

Lake County Ohio’s Perry and Riverside school districts are pleased to announce they have been awarded $150,000 in a partnership with Blanchester and Walnut Township Local School Districts, EnvisionEdPlus, and Young Entrepreneur Institute from a RemotEDx grant.
