Perry second graders have been making friends with the residents of Danbury Assisted Living. Since 2019, the second-grade classes have been taking field trips to Danbury, and while the pandemic made things more difficult, it couldn’t stop these friends from seeing each other.

The Perry Service Learning Green Team at Perry High School has nominated their custodian, Denise Prior, to be considered for the Custodian Hero award, sponsored by PepsiCo Rally for Schools. The award recognizes custodians who promote and contribute to their school recycling programs.

During a division II sectional playoff game in which Perry defeated Lakeview by a score of 53-19, senior Madyson Hacking became Perry High School’s all-time leading scorer for the girls’ varsity basketball team.
