Message from the Superintendent - 6/10/21
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are excited and already planning for the 2021-22 school year. We appreciate your support at home and the work our entire staff did to support the successful learning environment on campus in consultation with the Lake County General Health District. Based on current COVID-19 health data and a shift in guidelines, Perry Local Schools is currently a mask-friendly campus. Masks are welcome but not required.
In March 2021, the District conducted a parent survey seeking requests for remote learning in 2021-22. Based upon the limited number of requests, we do not have a high need to run remote-only learning classes as we did this past year.
We believe the most successful learning occurs here on campus, in person with our talented staff and daily access to resources. Therefore, all students will be registered for on-campus learning for the 2021-22 school year.
Should you have specific circumstances where you believe something other than on-campus learning may be needed for your child(ren), please contact your school principal by June 18, 2021 to discuss. Any student plans other than on-campus will be considered based on health needs and the individual student's prior success in an alternative learning environment.
